About The Founder

In the days ahead the idea of becoming a job creator became more appealing to me. I spent time researching the idea and the more I did the more it became a possible alternative as I had noted some gaps in the construction industry like where to source for materials, lack of professionalism and respect for safety measures etc… While I was supervising the construction of our home. I had a conversation with my husband about the idea and we concluded that the change we wanted to see could start from us. This gave birth to the idea of starting a construction company
I made a U-Turn to starting a company that dares do-it-right and build right brick by brick.

At the time ROFF SECTOR LTD was founded in 2016 as a construction equipment rental company, I could barely tell the difference between a hammer and a nail, let alone know anything about concrete mixtures and scaffolds. Despite my limited technical knowledge I was fully supported by my husband to get me off the ground.
In the early days, what I lacked in technical skills, I made up for that in customer service. What I lacked in project troubleshooting, I made up for that in my ability to do project cost saving, effective supervision and on-time delivery of projects. I also started learning all I could about project design, financing, management, and more.
Over the years, ROFF Sector has grown and evolved rapidly, notwithstanding the civil war. Against all odds, we have delivered projects in Limbe, Buea, and Douala. Along the way, I‘ve gone from a clueless female supervisor to a favored supervisor who dons safety hat and gloves to inspect work down in the trenches. Instead of wearing high heels, I now wear safety boots while on-site to help technicians.
Every year, we have ploughed-back all our income into acquiring new equipment, training, or coaching our team on customer service, teambuilding, safety standards and teamwork. We believe we have come a long way under difficult conditions. We are better positioned to design, develop, and build more modern homes on a timely and cost-effective basis. Our greatest strength is not our equipment, it is rather our ability to mobilize and motivate our teams to do-it-right & build right.

THINK CONSTRUCTION? THINK ROFF!!!
